Obituary for Adoph Paul Lauriski

Adolph P. Lauriski of Canon City, 93, died November 16, 2018 at St. Thomas More Hospital. He was born to Frank and Mary (Zupancic) Lauriski on May 26, 1925 in Canon City.
Mr. Lauriski was a decorated World War II veteran, having received the Purple Heart for his service during WWII. He retired from CF&I Steel in Pueblo. He was a lifelong member of St. Michael Catholic Church, KSKJ Slovenian Lodge, Western Slovanic Association (WSA) and the VFW. He married Doris Robinette on October 8, 1966 in Canon City. She preceded him in death on December 30, 1996.
Mr. Lauriski is survived by sister-in-law, Katherine Lauriski as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris; sisters, Mary Javernick and Freda Triano; and brothers, Rudy, Frank, Paul, Ernest, Anton and Millen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday November 27, 2018 11:00 am at St. Michael Catholic Church with Father Jesse Perez Celebrant. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
Services have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home.
